Indistrieel is a design store that comes highly praised in any media to do with the town of Middelburg, and rightfully so.
While the store does sell some more mainstream and popular design pieces and a few accessories, most of their items are what steampunks and dieselpunks would call “design goals”.
Bar stools in leather upholstery with working chains and pedals. Miners lamps turned into home lighting elements. Tables in wrought iron with cog shaped wood counterpieces, lamps that look like they were made from the wreckage of the Nautilus itself. Bags, wall clocks, artwork, they have it.
And while none of this is cheap, it’s not nearly as expensive as you might think.
If you can’t visit Indistrieel in person, go to their website. If you can’t find a piece from this post on there, you can link to it and enquire via the site’s contact form and they’ll sort everything out for you. They ship international with DHL, so these pieces are accessible.
In any case, it is definitely a store worth visiting if you find yourself in Middelburg!

Please note that a store’s stock is subjected to change, so if you contact them and an item in this post is no longer in stock, don’t hold it against us that someone else bought it first!
