Oh, very cool! You have a very distinctive style, thewilbur. Please do show us more whenever you get around to something new!
Thank you Colonel. I really appreciate the contribution you folks have made on behalf of these two artistic styles. I imagine that many artists, in many countries, have caught fire creatively experimenting with these two styles, thanks to your efforts.
I am very excited about Steampunk and Dieselpunk art projects. To quote Thaddeus Frog: "Egad! What have I been missing?"
I toned it down a bit by floating it in Pepto-Bismol. The thing is so naturally frightening. My favorite is the IS2. This Soviet tank (and also the Super Pershing in a limited sense) was one of the only Allied tanks the Germans were afraid of.
Hello, all. Haven't posted in an age, but I thought this image might be interesting to some. Found the picture of this marvelous Art Nouveau door online and just had to model it. It kind of grew from there into this thing that I call "The Night Caller".
Right on, La Femme. That was the picture I modeled it from. Always thought that door was a quintessential icon of Art Nouveau. Little things like the fact that the stepped circles are not concentric. They converge at the bottom. Just perfect asymmetrical balance.

Ah well, let's just say, what matters is how you handle it, right?

They look pretty much the same!)
Hey, more artwork! This time by famous artist Edward Hopper (don't know if it's been on here before):
Nighthawks, 1942. (My favorite from him.)
